OrbitBeyond India Pvt. Ltd. is the group's engineering and manufacturing arm — designing the OB-1 lunar lander, surface rovers, small satellites, lunar 5G communications systems, and AI data-centre payloads for lunar-surface compute.

The programme draws on three of the very few engineering communities anywhere that have attempted a lunar soft landing: India's ISRO Chandrayaan team, NASA Marshall Space Flight Center, and Israel's Beresheet GNC engineers.

Odisha was chosen over Bengaluru because the State already holds the four industrial inputs this work requires: a precision engineering base qualified to ISRO standards, an aluminium and metals ecosystem, an advanced semiconductor packaging capability, and a government that converts investment intent into clearances at pace.
